Mission Statement

The mission of the United Way of Greater Waterbury is to maximize community resources to help people in need in the ten-town Greater Waterbury area.

To achieve our mission, we will:

• Identify, communicate and respond to current and emerging needs



• Lead an annual appeal for funds and a planned giving initiative



• Determine how funds will be distributed to health and human service programs in the Greater Waterbury area.
