The 2020 nomination window is open for the Community Volunteer of the Year, United Way Organized Labor Community Service Award and the Frederic and Lucy Kellogg Award!  The winners selected by the nomination committee will be recognized at our 34th Annual Community Leaders and Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

The Community Volunteer of the Year Award is presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding volunteer service within the Greater Waterbury Community. Nominees will be considered for their contributions of time and effort along with their noted accomplishments and impact.

The United Way Organized Labor Community Service Award is presented annually to an individual from the organized labor community who has demonstrated outstanding volunteer service within the United Way of Greater Waterbury 10-town service area. Nominees will be considered for their contributions of time and effort along with their noted accomplishments and impact.

The Frederic & Lucy Kellogg Award is named in honor and recognition of the lifetime commitment and dedication to the Greater Waterbury community that was shared by Mr. & Mrs.  Kellogg. The award is presented annually to an individual or institution exemplifying the Kellogg’s sense of community responsibility and social awareness and also embodies United Way’s vision of a caring community.
