Attending camp is often the highlight of a child's summer! To make sure everyone gets a chance to experience it, the Greater Waterbury Campership Program offers Campership to children ages 5 - 18, who are members of low-income families in Bethlehem, Cheshire, Middlebury, Prospect, Southbury, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott, or Woodbury. Campership enables children to attend one session of summer camp, and they are awarded on first-come, first-served basis.
The 2024 Greater Waterbury Campership Program application window is EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2024.
• Completed applications and documents must be submitted directly to Camps.
• Please contact the Camp of your choice directly in regard to how to submit your completed application and documents (*see flyer for Camp contact information or visit Camp website).
• Applications should not be dropped off United Way of Greater Waterbury local office
