Education

You can help local children and youth engage more in learning. With increased exposure to early educational experiences and out-of-school opportunities, more kids will enter our schools with fundamental learning skills – and a foundation for life-long success.

10,000 Books

The Home Visiting & Literacy Initiative provides over 10,000 books a year to low-income children and their parents/caregivers through local home visiting programs and pediatrician offices.

Increasing Opportunities for Children & Youth to Succeed

With your support of United Way, Greater Waterbury children have the opportunity to learn and achieve their potential for success in life through positive experiences supported by parents, families, schools and the broader community.
