United Way Worldwide is working with trusted partners on the ground, United Way Romania, United Way Hungary and Fundacja Dobrych Inicjatyw (Good Initiatives Foundation) in Poland, in support of families migrating to safety across Europe. These funds will aid those who this crisis has displaced, to mobilize the caring power of communities for the common good.
The immediate support will cover:
• Transportation
• Shelter
• Food and medicines
• Critical childcare supplies, including infant formula and diapers
• Hygiene kits, and more
More than 1 million people have fled Ukraine, a number expected to rise to 4 million before the conflict is over. United Way is stepping up to support those displaced by the violence, providing life-saving relief.
